It's true! On January 16, 1919, The Volstead Act ratified the prohibition of alcohol in the United States’, thus robbing people of their vice used to calm the nerves and relax the mind. In need of something legal to comfort them from the trials and tribulations of daily life, American turned to ice cream replacing the literal dark age with the ice cream age.
